PKE steps up for growth in Germany
Takeover of Ostertag DeTeWe’s business representation of NEC in Germany provides important synergies and enables PKE to guide NEC customers in their digital transformation to the smart hybrid workplace of the future
Vienna, 18 November 2021 – With the takeover of the business representation of NEC in Germany from Ostertag DeTeWe GmbH as per November 1st, 2021, PKE drives synergies and gears up to further seize the growing opportunities in the German market for Enterprise Communications solutions and services.
All of Ostertag’s NEC related project, service and support staff are now employed by PKE, while the sales and service obligations with respect to NEC’s Enterprise Communications solutions in Germany - previously with Ostertag – have been transferred to PKE Deutschland GmbH effective 1st of November 2021.
With 12 branch offices across the country PKE already has a significant presence in Germany and the acquisition of Ostertag’s NEC business is a logical next step for PKE to grow further in this large and growing market. Preserving the knowledge and skills available with the German-based staff, while safeguarding previously made customer investments, enables PKE to bring the extended customer base to the next level of development. The acquisition of Ostertag leads to important synergy benefits, in which the specialist knowledge of NEC platforms and vertical market sectors such as Government, Healthcare and Hotel industry are important strategic values.
